Protected by the FIRST AMENDMENT OF THE BILL OF RIGHTS (Freedom of Religion) OF THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION.
The RLUIPA law prohibits discrimination that results in substantial burdens on our religion including burdens that prevent members from using sacrament that is vital to our beliefs and practices. Our small Church Centers can be in very small spaces while our Worship and Sacrament Centers may be in larger single-property locations. City, County or State zoning or land use rules that, for instance, might restrict church uses in certain zones, are impermissible under RLUIPA. Also, our religion cannot be discriminated against because of our ancient and sacred sacraments. The RLUIPA law is very important because in America, religious freedom is a cornerstone to our entire system.
